Sophia’s Well of Wisdom
A Wesak Celebration will be held Wednesday evening April 28 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at Motherlode Holistic Connection, 8 Court Street in Jackson. Wesak is held annually at the Taurus Full Moon uniting the spiritual community in a shared holy day in which religious distinctions disappear in mutual respect for both East and West as represented by the Buddha and the Christ. The event will include a brief talk on the significance of Wesak, a meditation, a water ceremony, and reflections on Light and Love. There is no charge for the event.
