Calaveras Grown Promotes Community Scale Agriculture – Local Food Dinner and Speakers

Calaveras Grown’s goal is to create and enhance a more sustainable community through increased agricultural opportunity and expanded demand for locally grown and processed foods and agricultural products. To this end, we are putting on a local food dinner/ social and hosting internationally renowned agricultural writer, speaker and advocate Lynn Miller. This will be a fun community building event which seeks to inspire our community to think about and act towards bio-regional interdependence and local food security. The event will take place at the Moke Hill Town Hall on Friday, February 25th, social hour begins at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 followed by speakers Lynn Miller and Paul Hunter.
