Hi,
It’s market time again! Don’t forget to stop by the Amador Farmers’ Markets this weekend for the freshest local produce your taste buds can imagine! The Sutter Creek market is Saturday from 8 am to 11 am in the parking lot on Eureka Street. Live music will be provided by local musician Ben Henry, just back from Santa Cruz. Saturday’s market will feature the first bakeoff of the season, with cherries being the star of the competition. Judging of the cherry confections will be at 9 am, with public tasting after the judging is completed. Sutter Creek will also be holding their annual Black Bart Day, so bring the family and make a whole morning of it!
Sunday’s market in Jackson is in the Busi Municipal parking lot next to Mel and Faye’s Diner on Hwy 49. It runs from 10 am to 1 pm. Buy some tasty baked goods from one of our vendors, and relax at our cafe tables, listening to the music of James May. You are sure to find the perfect Father’s Day gift at the market– or bring Dad to the market to enjoy some quality time together.
For more information about the markets, please call me, the market manager, at 419-2503.
See you there!
