Mokelumne Wild and Scenic campaign meeting Monday, June 7

Join other supporters of National Wild and Scenic River designation for the Mokelumne River on Monday, June 7 for a workshop and campaign volunteer meeting at the Amador Senior Center, 229 New York Ranch Road in Jackson. The workshop will start at 5 pm and the campaign volunteer meeting will start at 6 pm. Refreshments will be served.

Want to learn more about the details of National Wild and Scenic river designation for the Mokelumne River so you can be a more effective advocate? Come to this workshop conducted by longtime Mokelumne advocates Pete Bell and Katherine Evatt. They’ll review the proposed designation in more detail and answer any questions you may have.

Campaign volunteer meeting, 6 pm

Join others working to secure National Wild and Scenic River designation for the Mokelumne to discuss activities over the last month and what you can do in the coming weeks. Everyone who supports Wild and Scenic designation for the Mokelumne is welcome to take part! We need your good energy and your time.
